Leaving the Lopez Island Cabin


Please take the time to close up the cabin so that the next guests will enjoy their stay.

      
  1. Take away all perishables and garbage.
    2.   
  2. Wash all of the dishes and put them away.
    3.   
  3. Wash the counters, the sinks, the appliances and the microwave.
    4.   
  4. Vacuum and sweep the floors.
    5.   
  5. Empty the waste tray of the electric toilet.
    • Pull down on the panel at the bottom front of the toilet.
    • Pull the pan out.
    • Empty the ashes in the outhouse.
    • Replace the pan and close up the toilet.
    6.   
  6. Close and lock the bathroom door.
    7.   
  7. Close and lock the windows.
    8.   
  8. Unplug all of the appliances including the hot plate, the electric frying pan, the heaters, the lamps and electric blanket.
    9.   
  9. Turn off the wall heaters.

  10.   Put the toaster and tea kettle in one of the large plastic containers.

  11.   Strip the bed linens and take them back to Seattle for washing.

  12.   Take any empty water bottles back to Seattle.

  13.   Lock the door (Leave the spare key if you used it.
